Invicta Madelaine Fireplace Features
A rotating fireplace for open-plan living
In an open-plan home you might want the flames facing the lounge in the evening and the dining table on a Sunday. The Madelaine body swivels right round, so you choose the view. It makes the stove a natural centrepiece in a room with more than one seating area.
French cast iron craftsmanship
Invicta is a long-standing French foundry, and the Madelaine is cast entirely from iron. That heavy body, 168 kg in total, stores heat and keeps giving it off after the fire dies down. The stove stands 53 x 53 x 124 cm and connects to a 180 mm flue at the top.
Clean burn, clear glass
A clean glass system and post-combustion technology burn the wood more completely and help keep the window clear. Efficiency is 77%, and on slow combustion it runs for up to 8 hours. The supplier lists CE certification and Eco Design 2022 compliance, with a five-year warranty once registered.
Is the Madelaine right for your home?
Our listing gives a heating area of 65 m² to 125 m², which suits most medium to large lounges and open-plan spaces. Because it rotates, it works well in the middle of a room or on a corner hearth. Compare it with other freestanding fireplaces before you decide.
Installation in Cape Town
A rotating stove needs careful flue alignment. Our team supplies and installs the Madelaine with the right 180 mm flue, cowl and flashing for Cape wind and winter rain, and we look after compliance. Learn about our fireplace installation in Cape Town or browse the full Invicta collection.
Invicta Madelaine FAQs
Does the Invicta Madelaine really rotate?
Yes. The body turns through 360 degrees, so you can point the glass at the lounge, kitchen or dining area. Our installers set up the flue so the stove can turn freely.
Where is the Madelaine made?
It is cast in France by Invicta, a well-known French cast iron foundry. The supplier lists Eco Design 2022 compliance and CE certification.
