Description
Wide rather than tall, the Invicta Elton is a wide wood fireplace with a strong horizontal shape that sits well under a TV wall or along a long hearth. It is a French cast iron stove with 12kW of nominal output, adjustable from 8 to 16kW, and it suits buyers who want a big, calm fire that lasts the whole evening.

Long burn times
On slow combustion the Elton can run for up to 8 hours. You are left with a bed of embers that catches again as soon as you add a log, which is handy on cold mornings.
Cleaner, more complete burning
Preheated air is fed into the firebox to burn off gases that would otherwise go up the flue. Efficiency is rated at 76%, so you get more heat from each load of wood. Adjustable secondary air lets you tune the stove to a strong flue draught.
Clear glass
An air inlet above the window sends a curtain of warm air down the glass. That helps keep smoke and soot off, so the view stays bright.
Solid build
The Elton measures 91 x 48 x 93 cm and weighs about 210 kg of cast iron. That mass soaks up heat and releases it slowly, so the room stays warm well after the flames die down.

How long does the Invicta Elton 12kW burn on one load?
Up to 8 hours on slow combustion, depending on the wood and how you set the air. Dry hardwood gives the longest burn.
Is the Elton too big for a normal lounge?
It can be turned down to about 8kW, so it works in a decent sized lounge. In a small room it may run too warm, so ask us to check.
