Convection that carries heat further
Air channels around the firebox draw in cool air, warm it and release it from the top. That moving air spreads heat through a large room far better than radiation alone, and it helps you use less wood to stay comfortable.
Double combustion
The Verona burns its fuel twice: once in the main fire and again as secondary air ignites the gases rising from the logs. You get more warmth, less smoke and an efficiency of 76%.
A tall window on the fire
The large, upright glass gives a wide view of the flames from across the room, which suits a home where the fireplace can be seen from the lounge, dining table and kitchen.
Size and flue
The Verona stands 91 cm tall with a 54.8 x 55.6 cm footprint and weighs 90 kg. It connects to a 130 mm flue from the top. Hydrofire imports it from Europe and backs it with a 2 year warranty.
