As a 12kW built in fireplace (nominal output), it adjusts from 8kW to 16kW and saves floor space because it sits inside the wall or chimney breast.

Why the 3 sided frame matters
We list two versions. Our plain Hydrofire Odyssey 100 listing is the firebox on its own, which your builder finishes around. This version includes the 3 sided frame, which covers the join between the firebox and the wall on the top and both sides. The result is a sharp, modern surround that looks finished on day one.

At 100 cm wide, the Odyssey has generous glass that shows a long, low fire. It makes a strong focal point in a contemporary lounge and pairs well with a plastered or tiled feature wall.
High efficiency steel firebox
The steel body is rated at 83% efficiency, so more of every log ends up as heat in your room. The 150 mm flue leaves from the top for a straight run up the chimney or through the roof.
Size and weight
The unit measures 100 x 41 x 51 cm and weighs 105 kg. We confirm the exact opening size and clearances at the site visit so the frame sits flush.
