Description
Steel, clean lines and a broad view of the flames set the Hydrofire Naomi Side Glass apart from traditional box stoves. The large door window and side panels show off the fire from several angles, while the 9kW firebox does the real work of warming a medium to large lounge.
Hydrofire Naomi Side Glass Features
Glass on three faces
With a big front window plus glass at the sides, this side glass fireplace lets you watch the glowing logs from the couch, the dining table or the kitchen. It works well in modern open-plan homes where the fire is meant to be seen.
A tall, modern steel design
The Naomi measures 56 x 53 x 122 cm, so it stands taller than most stoves and has a clear contemporary shape. At 125 kg the steel body heats up fast, which is welcome when you light it after work on a cold evening.
Efficient 9kW heat
Hydrofire states 80% efficiency, so most of the energy in your wood ends up in the room. As a 9kW fireplace, it brings a lounge up to comfort quickly and holds it there with a steady load.
Quality you can check
The Naomi is made in China to a European design and carries CE certification, which confirms it meets European safety and environmental requirements. Hydrofire backs its steel fireplaces with a two-year warranty.
Is the Naomi right for your home?
Hydrofire rates this steel wood fireplace for about 86.5 m2. That covers a large lounge or an open-plan living and dining area with a standard ceiling. Big glass doors or double-volume ceilings need more heat, so let us check the space. Our freestanding fireplaces cover smaller and bigger options.
Installation in Cape Town
We install the Naomi with a 150 mm flue from the top outlet, a hearth plate and a cowl and flashing that stand up to Cape wind and winter downpours. Find out more about our fireplace installation in Cape Town or the full Hydrofire line-up.

Is steel or cast iron better for a wood fireplace?

What warranty does the Naomi carry?
Hydrofire gives a two-year warranty on its steel fireplaces, including the Naomi. Our team handles the installation, so you have one contact if anything needs attention.
