Convection heat for the whole room
The Elmwood convection heater draws cool air in around the firebox and sends warm air out into the room. That spreads warmth more evenly than a stove that only radiates from the front, so the far side of the lounge feels it too.
Eco Design Ready burning
As an eco design ready stove, the Elmwood is built to meet strict European emission rules, with low particle output. Henley rates it at 79% efficiency, so you burn less wood for the same comfort and send less smoke over the neighbours.
Flexible flue options
The flue can leave from the top or the rear, which helps when the roof or wall layout is awkward. It uses a 125 mm flue, and the stove measures 68.8 x 57.4 x 30.9 cm, so it fits into tighter spots and older fireplace openings.

What does Eco Design Ready mean on the Henley Elmwood?
It means the stove meets the European Ecodesign limits for emissions and efficiency. It is not required in South Africa, but you get a cleaner burn, less smoke and better use of your firewood.
Can the Elmwood fit into an old fireplace?
Often, yes. The compact body and rear flue option help it sit inside an existing opening. We inspect the chimney first and fit a liner or new flue where needed.
Are Henley fireplaces good for small homes?
Henley makes compact, efficient stoves, and the Elmwood is a good example. At 6.5kW it warms a modest lounge without overheating it.
