Description
The Heeta 950 NB is a wood-burning slow combustion fireplace made to be the centrepiece of a large room. It mounts on the wall, leaving the floor clear, and its face is finished in fluted 3Cr12 stainless steel panels that catch the light from the fire. With 12 to 16kW on tap, it is built for big lounges and open-plan spaces.
Heeta 950 Fireplace Features
Slow combustion, long burns
Slow combustion controls the air reaching the fire so the wood burns steadily rather than flaring and dying. You load less often, the heat is even, and a well-stocked fire can carry you through a long evening.
Wall mounted for a clean floor
As a wall mounted fireplace, the 950 NB floats above the floor. That gives a modern, minimal look, makes it easier to clean around and frees up space for log storage or a low bench underneath.
Fluted 3Cr12 stainless panels
3Cr12 is a utility stainless steel that resists corrosion well, which is useful in coastal homes. The fluted panels add texture and a designer feel without fuss.
Serious heat output
The 950 runs from 12kW up to 16kW. That range lets you run it moderately on a mild evening and push it harder when a cold front hits the Cape.
Is the Heeta 950 right for your home?
Heeta rates the 950 NB for about 400 m³ of room volume. With a standard ceiling, that is roughly a large lounge or an open living and dining area. Rooms with lots of glass or double-volume ceilings may need extra thought, so send us your size and photos. You can also see our other wall mounted fireplaces.
Installation in Cape Town
Wall mounting needs a solid wall, the right brackets and safe clearances. Our team checks the structure, mounts the fireplace and fits the flue, cowl and flashing to handle Cape wind and winter rain, then issues the compliance certificate. Heeta 950 FAQs
How does the Heeta 950 NB compare with smaller Heeta models?
The 950 is one of the larger units in the NB series, with far more output than the compact models. If you are weighing it against a smaller unit, our Heeta 600 NB review shows how the series works.
Can any wall hold a wall mounted fireplace?
Not always. Brick and solid block walls are usually fine, while drywall needs extra framing. We inspect the wall on site before we confirm the install.
