Description
The Heeta 500 Oakley Log Base puts a wide fire window up at a comfortable height and keeps your next few logs stacked neatly underneath. SAfire builds it from carbon steel and adds black fluted panels in 304 stainless steel, so it looks just as good in a hotel lounge or a wine farm tasting room as it does at home.
SAfire Heeta 500 Oakley Features
Fluted panels and a clean finish
The black 304 stainless steel fluted panels give the Oakley its look and help it stand up to years of heat. Neat edge finishing makes it a feature piece rather than just a heater.
Strong, flexible heat
With an output range of 6 to 11kW and 80% efficiency, the fireplace can tick over on a cool evening or work hard in mid-winter. Most of the heat from your wood ends up in the room instead of the flue.
Built for heavy use
- Carbon steel firebox
- 10mm carbon steel fire grates
- Ash tray for easy cleaning
- Large viewing glass
- Log storage in the Oakley base
Size and flue
It measures 48 x 46 x 85 cm and weighs 75 kg, so it needs no special floor in most homes. The 150 mm flue leaves from the top for a straight run to the roof.
Is the Heeta 500 right for your home?
SAfire rates it for a space of up to 290 m³. With a normal 2.7 metre ceiling, that is close to a 100 m2 room, so it suits a large lounge or open-plan living area. Higher ceilings mean fewer square metres covered. Compare it with other models in our freestanding fireplaces or the full fireplace range.
Installation in Cape Town
We supply the Oakley and install it with a 150 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing that hold up in Cape wind and rain, with compliance handled for you. See our fireplace installation in Cape Town page or browse the Heeta fireplace range.
Heeta 500 FAQs
What is the Oakley log base?
It is the stand the fireplace sits on, with an open space for stacking firewood. It raises the fire to a better viewing height and keeps a few logs close at hand.
Is the Heeta 500 fireplace good for restaurants?
Yes. SAfire designed it for restaurants, hotels, event venues and wine farms as well as homes, and the heavy steel build suits long hours of use.
What guarantee comes with it?
The Oakley carries a 5-year limited guarantee from SAfire.
