Description
Most stoves are black. The Earthfire Green Small is not, and that is the point. It is a compact ceramic wood fireplace with a green glaze that turns the heater into a design feature, whether your home leans farmhouse, coastal or modern. It suits buyers who want real wood heat in a small space and something more personal than a plain steel box.
Earthfire Green Small Ceramic Fireplace Features
Ceramic warmth
Ceramic warms up and then gives off a gentle, even heat. It feels softer than the sharp heat of thin steel, which many people prefer in a bedroom, study or small lounge.
Sized for compact rooms
At 45 x 45 x 61 cm, the Green Small fits a corner, an alcove or a small hearth without crowding the room. It weighs about 50 kg, so most floors take it on a standard hearth plate.
Colour that stands out
A green fireplace becomes the focal point of the room. It pairs well with timber floors, white walls and natural textures, and it looks good even in summer when the fire is out.
Burns wood
Load it with dry, seasoned firewood for a clean burn and steady heat. Smaller pieces suit the compact firebox best.
Is the Green Small right for your home?
As the name says, this is a small wood fireplace, made for compact rooms rather than big open plan spaces. Earthfire does not list a heat output in our data, so send us your room size and ceiling height and we will confirm the fit. Our guide on how to choose a small fireplace covers what to check, and you can compare other sizes in our freestanding fireplaces range.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and fits the stove with the right flue, a cowl that stands up to Cape wind and sealed flashing for winter rain. We also handle compliance. See our fireplace installation in Cape Town page or browse every Earthfire ceramic fireplace we carry.
Earthfire Green Small FAQs
Is the Earthfire Green Small big enough to heat a lounge?
It is built for small spaces such as a study, bedroom or compact lounge. For a large or open plan room, our team will usually point you to a bigger Earthfire model or a higher output stove.
Does a ceramic fireplace need special care?
Light the fire gently with small kindling so the ceramic warms up slowly, and avoid overloading the firebox. Wipe the glaze with a soft dry cloth once it is cold.
