Description
The Earthfire Earthtone is a ceramic fire pot that works as both heater and artwork. Its translucent tan-brown glaze has the soft colours of desert dunes at sunrise, and because each pot is shaped and glazed by hand, no two are the same. It is made to order in South Africa.

Heat that lingers
Ceramic soaks up heat from the fire and gives it back slowly. The Earthtone stays hot for up to two hours after the last flame, so the room keeps its warmth while you wind down for the night.
Clay made for fire
The clay is specially mixed so it will not crack from uneven heating or thermal shock. It will not rust, smoke or smell like some metal stoves can.
Easy on wood and cleaning
Expect to add about 3 to 4 logs every 45 to 60 minutes. Dry, seasoned wood or charcoal works best. The fire burns down to a very fine, odourless ash that only needs removing every 2 to 3 weeks.
Make it your own
The Earthtone comes plain, or you can pre-order it with an African Mask or a bronze Japanese Medallion in the same finish. Custom decorations, special colours and logos are possible for lodges, hotels and restaurants on larger orders.
Size and setup
The large pot measures 52 x 52 x 68 cm, weighs 60 kg and uses a 125mm flue. It comes with a sealing kit. The stand and accessories are sold separately, and a small size is also available. Each pot is numbered and carries a 10-year limited warranty.

Will an Earthfire ceramic fireplace crack?
Not from normal use. The clay is formulated to handle uneven heating and thermal shock. Small marks from the handmade process are normal and part of each pot’s character.
What can I burn in it?
Seasoned, dry wood or charcoal. Wet wood makes more smoke and less heat, so store your logs under cover.
