Does the ceramic finish crack from the heat?
The ceramic is made for use as a fireplace, so normal fires are fine. Build fires up gradually from cold and avoid overloading the firebox, which protects the finish over many winters.
What should I burn in a ceramic wood fireplace?
Use dry, seasoned hardwood only. Do not burn treated timber, painted wood or rubbish, which can damage the firebox and create dangerous smoke.
