Wood or smokeless fuel

Both use the same firebox and output. The store stand is taller at 81 cm and adds a shelf for logs, while the low stand version sits closer to the floor. Pick the one that suits your hearth height and how you like to view the fire.
Can I burn coal in the Charnwood Skye 5?
You can burn approved smokeless fuels such as anthracite by opening the grate bars. Avoid household bituminous coal, which smokes and dirties the glass. For most Cape Town homes, dry seasoned wood is the easiest and cleanest choice.
