Compact and easy to live with, the Charnwood C Four, often called the Charnwood C4, is a small wood stove made for compact spaces like a home office, a guest room or a cottage lounge. It turns down to a gentle 2kW and up to 5.5kW, so you can keep a small room cosy without it getting stuffy.

Built small, built solid
Charnwood builds the body from boiler plate steel, then adds a cast iron top and door. It weighs 97 kg. At just 37 x 42 x 56 cm it fits on a modest hearth or into an existing fireplace opening.
Clean burning by design
The C Four is SIA Eco-Design 2022 Ready, an eco design ready stove that meets strict European limits on emissions for both wood and smokeless fuel. Charnwood rates it at 78.30% efficiency, so a small load of wood gives a long, useful burn.
Easy control, clear glass
A single push-pull lever sets the air and the burn rate. Charnwood’s air wash system helps keep the glass clear, and a wooden handle stays cool enough to touch when you open the door to reload.
No grate, simple cleaning
Logs burn on a sliding fire bed that doubles as the ash pan, so emptying ash is quick and tidy. Short logs suit the firebox best, and the flue can exit from the top or rear through a 125 mm pipe.
