Description
Wide, low and wrapped in glass, the Carbel RA-100 with Termatek turns the fire into a long, panoramic feature. It is a mild steel wood fireplace with glass on three sides, so the flames are visible from across the room, not just from the couch in front. With 15kW of output, it is made for larger spaces.

A three sided fireplace view
Glass on the front and both ends gives a broad, open look at the fire. It works as a centrepiece in a big lounge or in a wall feature where people sit at different angles.
Flexible placement
The RA-100 can be framed into a wall as a built-in unit, mounted on a wall, or set up on its own. That gives you and your designer more room to play with the layout.
Strong output for large rooms
Carbel rates it at 15kW with 75% efficiency, so a few good logs go a long way. The body is 101 x 43.5 x 55 cm, weighs 180 kg and connects to a 150 mm flue from the top. The finish is anthracite grey.
Is the RA-100 right for your home?

Does a three sided fire need special cladding?
The surround must be non-combustible and leave the side glass clear. We design the wall and finishes around the unit so it looks clean and meets the clearances.
Will 15kW be too much heat?
For a small room, yes. For a large open-plan space of around 144 m2, it is a good match. We look at your floor plan and ceiling height before advising.
