Description
The Carbel i70 is a built-in fireplace for homeowners who want a wide, clean fire view framed into a wall or chimney breast. In the V-board version it puts out 12kW of wood fire heat, enough for a large lounge or a busy open plan area. Carbel designed the i range with bigger glass and a bigger combustion area than earlier models, so you see more fire and get more heat.
Carbel i70 V-board Built-in Fireplace Features
Panoramic glass
The large glass door is the star of the Carbel i 70 V-board. It turns the fire into a wide picture in the wall, which works well in modern homes where the fireplace is a design feature.
Practical door design
The door can be set to open on the left or the right, so it suits your room layout. A reinforced door and seal close firmly, which helps control the burn and gives a solid, quality feel every time you load wood.
Flexible fitting
The unit measures 55.2 x 69.4 x 41.1 cm and is made of mild steel. It takes a 150 mm flue from either the top or the rear, which gives our installers more options when working with an existing chimney or a new build.
Frame choices
Carbel offers a slim frame, wider frames on three or four sides, and a passe-partout finish, so you can pick how the fireplace meets the wall.
Is the Carbel i70 right for your home?
The i70 V-board is rated for a heating area of 115.38 m², so this 12kW wood fireplace is best in large lounges, double volume rooms and open plan spaces. For smaller rooms, look at a lower output model in our built-in fireplaces range.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team handles the full job: building in the unit, connecting the 150 mm flue and cowl for Cape wind and rain, and finishing the surround through our built-in fireplace design and cladding service. See every Carbel fireplace we supply.
