Most inserts give you a small window in a big frame. The G-100 does the opposite, with a wide pane that frames a long, low flame. It suits a feature wall in a large lounge, a double-volume space or an open-plan living area.
A sliding door that is easy to use
The door slides rather than swings, so there is no need to leave space in front of the fire for it to open. It makes loading logs simple and keeps the face of the fireplace neat.
Smart air supply
An exterior air inlet draws combustion air from outside, so the fire does not pull warm air out of the room. A separate inlet feeds convection air, which is heated and returned to the space. A thermal interior helps the firebox hold heat, and an optional fan system can push warm air further.
Size and flue
The G-100 is mild steel, weighs 220 kg and measures 102 x 51.5 x 98 cm. It connects to a 200 mm top flue, which is larger than most home fireplaces, so the flue route is part of the planning from day one.
