Enamelled cast iron
Cast iron soaks up heat and lets it out slowly, so the room stays warm after the flames settle. The enamel finish adds colour and keeps the surface easy to wipe clean, which matters on a stove you see every day.
Tall and narrow
The Candy measures 39.7 x 40.4 x 93.4 cm. That small footprint leaves space for a log basket and keeps walkways clear in a compact lounge. At 85 kg it sits on a normal hearth plate without heavy building work.
6.6kW of steady wood heat
Its output suits a small to medium room. Load a few logs, set the air, and it settles into an even burn rather than roaring hot then cold.
Simple 120 mm flue
It connects to a 120 mm flue, a slimmer pipe that looks tidy running up to the ceiling.
Is the La Nordica Candy right for your home?

Is the Nordica Candy big enough for an open-plan home?
It is best in a smaller room or a defined lounge. For a large open-plan space we would normally suggest a bigger stove. Send us a floor plan and our team will point you to the right size.

The cast iron gives long, even heat and the enamel protects the surface and adds colour. It is a classic pairing that looks good for years with very little care.
Can the Candy burn coal?
It is built as a wood stove. Use dry, seasoned wood for the best heat and the cleanest glass.
