Description
Picture a big, clear window on the fire and a slim steel body that does not crowd the room. That is the Canature Deco Plus, the middle size in the Deco family. It gives you a generous view of the flames, steady heat and a design that suits modern homes, townhouses and renovated older houses alike.
Canature Deco Plus Features
A generous view of the flames
The Deco Plus has an unusually large glass area for a stove of this size. An air-wash system pulls clean air across the inside of the glass to cut down on soot, so the view stays good through the evening.
Efficient heat
With a 9kW output and 74% efficiency on our listing, it turns a good share of each log into useful warmth. Secondary combustion burns off gases that would otherwise be wasted, and a built-in convection system moves warm air out into the room instead of letting it sit around the stove.
Compact and easy to place
At 39.5 x 60 x 60 cm and 90 kg, the steel body is small enough for a standard hearth. The 150 mm flue can exit from the top or the back, which gives our installers options when a beam or window is in the way.
Is the Deco Plus right for your home?
Canature rates it to heat about 90 m2. That is a large lounge or a small open-plan living and dining area. For a single bedroom or study it may be more fire than you need, and for a double-volume space you may want more output. Browse our freestanding fireplace collection to compare, or ask us for advice.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies the Deco Plus and installs it with a correctly sized flue, a wind-rated cowl and tight flashing for Cape winter rain. We sign off the compliance certificate too. Read more about our fireplace installation in Cape Town or see all Canature fireplaces we stock.
Canature Deco Plus FAQs
Is the Deco Plus a 9kW wood fireplace?
Yes. It has a nominal output of 9kW and burns wood. That is a comfortable middle ground: strong enough for a family lounge without overheating a normal-sized room.
Why choose Canature fireplaces?
Canature fireplace models focus on modern design and big viewing glass at a sensible size. The Deco range lets you pick a small, mid or larger unit with the same look, so you can match the stove to the room.
