Not when it is used correctly. Light small fires at first so the ceramic warms gradually, and avoid overloading the firebox. We walk you through the first burn at handover.
Is the Earthfire Blue Small big enough for a lounge?
For a small lounge, yes. For a large or open-plan room it will struggle, and we would point you to a bigger model instead.
