Description
The LaBraise Arco is a freestanding fireplace that brings a live flame and a warm gathering spot to your living room. A freestanding unit is one of the easiest ways to add a fireplace to an existing home, because it needs a hearth and a flue rather than building work, and it can sit in a corner or out in the room where everyone can enjoy it.
LaBraise Arco Fireplace Overview
Why choose a freestanding fireplace
A freestanding fireplace gives heat from all its sides, not just the front, so warmth spreads into the room quickly. It also keeps the install simple: no wall to break open, no cladding, and less time with builders in the house. If you move one day, a freestanding unit is also easier to plan around than a built-in.
Specifications
Our product page does not yet list the full technical data for the Arco fireplace, and we would rather give you exact figures than guess. Ask our team and we will send:
- Heat output and the room size it suits
- Fuel type and burn controls
- Flue diameter and outlet position
- Dimensions, weight and hearth needs
Is the Arco right for your home?
Choosing the right size matters more than anything else. Too small and the room never warms up, too big and you end up running it low and smoky. Send us your room size, ceiling height and a few photos, and we will check the LaBraise Arco against your space before you buy. You can also compare other models in our freestanding fireplaces range or the full fireplaces section.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and installs the Arco with the right flue, cowl and roof flashing for Cape wind and winter rain, and we handle the compliance side for you. See how our fireplace installation in Cape Town works, or view more from the LaBraise fireplace range.
LaBraise Arco FAQs
What size room will the Arco heat?
That depends on its heat output and on your room: ceiling height, windows and insulation all play a part. Send us your floor area and a photo, and our team will tell you honestly whether the Arco is a good match or whether another model suits better.
Do I need a chimney for a freestanding fireplace?
No brick chimney is required. We fit a steel flue through the ceiling and roof with a cowl on top. If your home already has a safe chimney, we can often connect the fireplace to it instead.
