The Algora DF is a double sided fireplace insert that you build into a wall between two spaces, such as a lounge and a dining room. You see the fire from both sides, and a built-in fan helps send warm air out into the rooms. One fire, two rooms
Glass doors on both faces give a full view of the flames from either side. It turns a dividing wall into a feature and saves you installing two separate fireplaces.
Fan assisted heat
The fan moves warm air around the room more evenly than radiant heat alone, so you feel the warmth sooner and further from the fire. Think of it as a fireplace with blower built in, rather than a separate fan for fireplace insert bought later. It needs a plug point nearby.
Strong, efficient output
The Algora DF gives 13kW at 79% efficiency, so a large living area warms up well without burning through your wood pile. It burns wood and has a 150mm top flue.
Size and build
The steel body measures 45.4 x 75.9 x 58.2 cm and weighs about 97 kg. We check the wall and support before building it in.
Is the Algora DF right for your home?

Algora DF FAQs
Does the Algora DF still work during load shedding?
Yes. The fire burns normally without power, you just lose the fan boost. Heat still radiates through both glass doors into each room.
Can a double sided fireplace go in an existing wall?
Often, yes, but the wall must be opened and supported properly. We assess the wall, roof space and flue route on site before quoting.
