Description
An 80mm flue is narrow, so a gust or a downpour at the top has a bigger effect on how it vents. The 80mm storm end piece caps a single skin 80mm flue pipe with a storm style cowl. It lets exhaust escape while shielding the opening from wind and rain, which helps keep the draw steady.

Where it is used
The 80mm size suits small appliances with a narrow single skin outlet. If you are searching for an 80mm flue pipe to go with it, our team can supply the matching lengths and bends. Look through the storm cowls for single flues range or the complete flues and accessories section.
Fitting note
Check that the cowl matches your pipe type and outer diameter before ordering. A loose cowl can rattle or lift in strong wind. Our chimney cowl installation service fits it securely and seals the roof flashing.
Care and checks
Stainless steel needs very little care. When the chimney is swept each year, ask for the cowl to be checked and cleared of soot, leaves or nests. A clear cowl keeps the draw strong and the room clear of smoke.
Is this the same as a PVC pipe cap?
No. This flue cowl is stainless steel and made to handle hot exhaust gases. Plastic pipe fittings are not safe on any heating appliance flue.
