Description
The Northern Flame Kenna 100 freestanding starts life as an insert and becomes a freestanding fire with the addition of a stand. That gives you a tall, modern stove with a very wide window, set on a base that can store your wood. It works well as a room divider fireplace between two spaces or as a strong focal point in the middle of a lounge.
Northern Flame Kenna 100 Features
A wide, clean window
The large Schott Robax glass has an opaque black border for a sleek designer look. An airwash system and the vermiculite lining both help push hot air over the glass, which keeps it clearer for longer.
Simple control
Primary air, secondary air and the airwash are all set with one lever below the door. Secondary combustion burns off more of the smoke gases, so you use less fuel and release fewer emissions.
Heat that lasts
A double baffle of stainless steel and vermiculite slows the hot gases and keeps heat in the firebox longer. The vermiculite lined chamber keeps giving off warmth after the fire goes out. Heat leaves by radiation through the glass and by convection from the body and the built-in convection box.
Practical details
The door opens from the right as standard but can be swapped to open from the left. The removable handle works as a cold handle, or can be fixed in place with the screw supplied. The firebox takes 50cm logs and uses about 4.1kg of wood per hour on a normal burn.

Northern Flame Kenna 100 FAQs
Is the Kenna 100 an eco-design fireplace?
Yes. It meets the SIA Eco-Design 2022 rules for burning wood and smokeless fuel, which means far lower particle emissions than an open fire or an older stove.
Which stand should I choose for the Kenna 100 freestanding?
The Wood Box Stand keeps logs neatly stored under the fire. The wider Bench stand has a more minimal look and gives you more storage space beside the firebox.
