With or without a log holder
You can order the Taurus P3F with a log holder base for tidy wood storage under the firebox, or without it for a lighter, more open look. Either way, the stove stands freely and does not need a brick chamber.

With 13kW of output and 78% efficiency, the Taurus P3F turns more of each log into room heat. The steel body warms up quickly after lighting, so a cold room feels comfortable sooner.

Where is the best place to put a double sided fireplace?
Between two living spaces, or in the centre of a large open plan room, works best. Both sides should have clear floor space and enough clearance to furniture so the heat can spread.
Should I choose the log holder version of the Taurus P3F?
If you like keeping a day’s wood close at hand, the log holder is handy and neat. If you want the stove to look lighter, go without it and store wood elsewhere.
