Built for the Modi
The set is made for the SAFire Modi braai, so it suits that braai body rather than being a loose, one-size kit. Check that you own the Modi, or are buying it, before you order.
Stainless steel
The spit set is stainless steel, which copes with heat and fat and wipes clean after use. The set weighs about 15 kg in total.

Build a bed of steady coals rather than a big flame, and keep the fire to the sides so fat does not drip straight onto the heat. Truss the meat tightly so it stays balanced on the spit. Our team is happy to show you how to set it up.
