Description
Some nights you want gas, some nights only wood smoke will do. The SAFire Pyro Combo Braai Stainless Steel settles that argument by giving you both in one built-in casing. One side holds the SAFire ThreeOneSix gas grill, the other is a wood braai, so you can light whichever suits the meal, or run both for a big crowd.
SAFire Pyro Combo Braai Stainless Steel Features
A true gas and wood braai
As a dual fuel braai, the Pyro combo splits its width between gas and wood. On SAFire’s option list, the 1200 size pairs a 390 gas section with a 750 wood section, and the larger sizes give more room to each side. Gas is handy for midweek meals and fast starts. Wood is there for the flavour and the fire everyone gathers around.
Five sizes for different spaces
Choose from 1200 mm, 1400 mm, 1600 mm, 1800 mm or 2000 mm. SAFire lists the 1200 casing at 123 x 130 x 132 cm (d x w x h) and the 2000 at 208 x 212 x 217 cm, so the bigger units are serious centrepieces for an outdoor kitchen. We confirm the right size against your wall and patio layout before you order.
Stainless steel casing
The body is stainless steel in a bright natural finish that suits a modern patio and is simple to wipe down after use. If you prefer a darker look, the same unit comes as the SAFire Pyro Built-in Combo Braai Black.
Part of a wider Pyro range
If you only ever cook with one fuel, SAFire also makes the Pyro as a full gas unit and as a full wood unit. The combo is the pick when your household is split between the two camps.
Is the Pyro combo braai right for your home?
It suits families who entertain often and want flexibility. Because it is a built-in combo braai, it needs a solid wall or a planned braai area, a chimney for the wood side and a safe gas supply for the grill. Covered patios exposed to the south-easter often need a good canopy and flue. Compare other built-in braais and gas braais if you are weighing options.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team builds in the casing, runs the gas line and plans the chimney for Cape weather. Gas work is done by a certified installer, as SAFire requires. Read about our braai installation services, or see more from SAFire.
Pyro Combo FAQs
Can I use the gas and wood sides at the same time?
Yes. The two sections sit side by side in one casing, so you can grill on gas while the wood fire burns down to coals. It is a handy way to feed a big group without waiting.
What is the difference between the stainless and black Pyro combo?
The layout and sizes match. The stainless version shows a bright metal finish, while the black version has a darker look. Choose the one that suits your patio colours and cladding.
