Description
One braai, three new ways to cook. The SAFire Modi pizza dome, steak pan and skewer set is a matching accessory kit for the SAFire Modi braai. It lets you bake a pizza, sear a steak in a pan and grill skewers, all over the same fire you use for wors and chops.
SAFire Modi Pizza Dome Set Features
Pizza dome
A braai pizza dome traps heat above the food, so the base cooks on the hot surface while the top melts and browns. It is a simple way to make pizza, flatbreads or a cheesy braaibroodjie without buying a separate pizza oven.
Steak pan
A pan gives you full contact heat for a deep crust on steak, and it is handy for food that would fall through the grid, such as mushrooms, onions, eggs or prawns.
Skewer set
Skewers make sosaties, kebabs and vegetable sticks easy to turn and serve. They are ideal when you feed a group and want food ready at the same time.
Stainless steel
The set is stainless steel and weighs about 15 kg in total. It handles braai heat and cleans up with warm water and a non-scratch scourer.
Which braais does the set fit?
It is made for the SAFire Modi braai, whether you mount the Modi on a wall, build it in, or stand it on the SAFire Modi Stand. Pair it with the SAFire Modi Spit Set to make the most of the braai. You can find the Modi braai in our built-in braais section.
Tips for braai pizza
Let the coals burn down to an even, hot bed before you bake. Use a thin base so it cooks through before the toppings dry out, and check it after a few minutes. Our team can show you how the set fits when we deliver your Modi.
Delivery and setup
We deliver the set across Cape Town, or bring it along when we install your braai. Read about our braai installation services.
SAFire Modi Pizza Dome Set FAQs
Will the dome work on other braais?
The set is made for the SAFire Modi braai, so we only recommend it for the Modi. If you have another braai, ask us and we will suggest a suitable option.
What comes in the set?
The kit holds three pieces: the dome, a pan for steak and a set of skewers, all stainless steel and sized for the Modi.
