The 590mm 2-Burner Gas Insert allows you to host ‘spur-of-the-moment’ barbeques with safe and instant heat that cooks delicious meals quickly. The gas insert provides you with an easy solution for feeding the kids first, while the adults relax and wait for the coals to get ready. It’s especially useful at gatherings and parties where there are many mouths to feed, and it’s a great, alternative cooking option to use during those unforeseen power cuts!

The gas insert is not a sizzler, it’s a gas braai. It features double, durable, u-shaped burners which gives you double the cooking capability and even more heat! It comes with two, 30 000 BTU Arrow U-Burners that deliver highly responsive temperature control adjustments. The dual spark, solid brass, flame thrower ignition provides reliable and immediate heat. There is a reversible, heavy-duty, stainless-steel grid; a fat trap, and a full width, removable, slide-out drip tray which makes cleaning easy. The gas insert is manufactured out of 304 and 430 stainless steel, and the front is powder coated black. It has 304 stainless steel burners. The LPG gas bottle and the gas connections are not included with the insert.

The braai’s stylish frame, door, ash pan and removable ash drawer are all manufactured out of 304 stainless steel. The firebox, ashpan and coal maker are manufactured out of 430 stainless steel. Both the ash pan and the coal maker are sprayed matt black with heat resistant paint for a sleek final finish. The large braai door slides neatly underneath the braai and doubles up as functional work surface. There is a galvanised steel braai grid; 4 grid height adjustment levels and a light fitting.

The 1500 stainless steel braai comes standard without a hood so that it can be inserted into a prebuilt chimney breast, and this makes replacing your old braai with a new braai much easier. As an ‘optional extra’ it can be pre-ordered with the Gather (Detachable hood).

There is an ‘optional extra’ Stainless Steel Doorset and Frame which can be ordered to install and close off storage areas along and under counters to give your braai room a sleek designer finish.
The braai flue kit is not included with the braai, and flue parts need to be ordered along with your braai as per your specific installation.
