This built in stainless steel braai has a 304 grade stainless frame and door, a coal maker for steady embers and all the basics you need from the first fire. It is designed without a hood, so it fits straight into a prebuilt chimney breast.

Stainless steel where it shows
Its frame and door, plus the ash pan and the ash drawer that lifts out, are made of 304 stainless steel, which stands up well to sea air and outdoor use. The firebox and coal maker use 430 grade stainless steel. The ash pan and coal maker are finished in matt black heat-resistant paint for a sleek contrast.
Practical design
The large door slides away underneath the braai and gives you a handy work surface while you cook. Inside you get a galvanised steel grid with four height settings, a light fitting for night braais and a potjie hook for slow cooking.
Easy replacement of an old braai
Because it comes without a hood, the 1000 can slide into an existing chimney breast. That makes swapping out a tired, rusted braai much simpler. If you are building from scratch, an optional Gather hood can be ordered.
Options to make it yours
A matching stainless doorset and frame can close off storage under the counter. You can also pre-order it as a gas and wood combination braai, or as a gas-only braai. The flue kit is ordered separately to suit your installation.

It measures 53 x 100 x 80.8 cm, weighs about 150 kg and has a top flue outlet.
