It is the largest, best value unit in the Economaster range, made for entertaining larger groups of family and friends. Built into a wall indoors or under cover, it lets you braai in any weather and then keeps the area warm once the cooking is done.

Quick, steady coals
The ember maker has you braaiing in about 15 minutes and keeps fresh coals coming for the whole evening, so the last chops cook as well as the first.
Room for the whole menu
A large, wide grid handles boerewors, steaks and sosaties at once, and the potjie hook takes care of the pot. The ash pan lifts out for cleaning and the light fitting helps when you braai after dark. A top and a bottom door are included, and the lower door doubles as a worktop for preparing meat.
Solid South African build
The firebox is made from hot-rolled 2.5mm mild steel, and the whole unit is proudly South African with a 5 year limited guarantee.

Yes. It is designed to be installed indoors so you can braai in any weather, as long as it has a properly sized chimney and cowl to carry the smoke away.
What size chimney does a built-in braai stand need?
The 1200 has a 500 x 350 mm opening on top. We build or fit a chimney to suit that size and add a cowl to cope with the wind.
