Picture the same fire glowing in your lounge and your dining room at once. That is what the Progress Fires Air Cubo Double Sided 1200 does. It is a steel, built-in wood fireplace with a glass door on each side, designed to sit in a dividing wall and become the centre of both spaces.

One fire, two rooms
A dual sided fireplace lets you heat and light two areas with a single load of wood. It works well between a lounge and a kitchen, a lounge and a patio room, or as a room divider in a large open-plan home.
Double combustion
The Air Cubo burns its wood twice: once in the main fire, then again as fresh air ignites the leftover gases. You get more heat from the same logs, less smoke and cleaner glass.
Hot air where you need it
Warm air leaves through slots above the glass at the front, so heat moves into the room rather than collecting inside the wall. An optional two-speed fan can push the air further, and it switches off by itself when you open the door.
Built to last
The combustion chamber is lined with refractory material and the side deflectors are made of thick painted steel. The unit measures 50 x 120 x 68 cm, burns wood and connects to a 200 mm flue. Flues are sold separately so we can match the right kit to your roof.
Is the Air Cubo double sided 1200 right for your home?

Air Cubo FAQs
Does a double sided fireplace give the same heat on both sides?
Both glass faces radiate heat, so each room gets warmth and a full view of the flames. The room with the warm air slots will feel slightly warmer, which we take into account when planning the layout.
Is the fan on the Progress Fires Air Cubo standard?
No, the fan is an optional extra. Without it the unit heats by natural convection. With it you get two speeds and the fan stops automatically when the door is opened.
