Tall, slim and modern, the Euro Talon is a freestanding wood fireplace that gives a medium sized room plenty of warmth without dominating it. The steel body is lined with vermiculite, which reflects heat back into the fire for a hotter, cleaner burn, and a wide German Schott glass door puts the flames on show.

Closed combustion saves wood
A closed combustion fireplace like the Talon uses up to a third less wood than an open fire for the same heat. The sealed door controls the air, so logs burn slowly and evenly instead of roaring away in an hour.
Adjustable output
Output runs from 7 to 10kW. Turn it down for a mild autumn evening or open it up when a cold front hits, and the 76% efficiency means most of that heat stays in the room.
Vermiculite lining and quality glass
Vermiculite panels help the firebox reach burning temperature quickly and keep the glass cleaner. Schott glass handles high heat well and gives a clear view of the fire.
Slim, upright shape
At 51 x 36 x 89.5 cm and about 70 kg, the Talon has a small footprint and a tall profile, a good fit if you want a modern fireplace freestanding in a corner or against a feature wall. It takes a 150 mm flue from the top.
Is the Talon fireplace right for your home?

How much wood does the Euro Talon use?
As a closed combustion unit it uses up to a third less wood than an open fire for the same heat. Dry, seasoned hardwood gives the best results and the cleanest glass.
Will the fire talon suit a small room?
Its lowest setting is around 7kW, so in a room much under 50 m2 it can feel too warm. For smaller spaces, ask us about a lower output model.
