One fire, two views
As a see-through wood fireplace, the 950 DS works as a room divider and a focal point at the same time. It ties open-plan areas together and makes the fire the centre of the home rather than tucked into one corner.
Lined for more heat
The firebox has a soil brick lining that holds heat and gives it back slowly. Heeta says the lining adds about 20 percent more heat to the space compared with an unlined box, and the 80% efficiency rating means more warmth from every log.
Big and solid
The body is steel with 304 stainless steel details, measuring 950 x 535 x 480 mm and weighing 179.5 kg. That mass helps it hold heat once it is up to temperature. It connects to a 150 mm flue.
Is the Heeta 950 DS LB right for your home?

Which side do you load the wood from?
You load from the door on the side that suits your layout. We look at how you use both rooms and position the unit so the loading side is easy to reach and wood storage is close by.
Does a double sided fireplace give less heat?
Not when it is sized correctly. Heat spreads to both rooms instead of one, which is why the 950 has a high 13 to 16kW output. In one open space it simply heats the whole area.
Is a log box available for the Heeta 950 DS LB?
